Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates to ensure the financial health of our café.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Staff Management: Schedule and manage staff, providing training and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Workplace Safety: Conduct regular inspections to ensure a safe and healthy work environment, identifying and addressing any hazards or issues.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, demonstrating a proactive and solution-focused approach.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage inventory, ensuring we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers, increasing sales and revenue.
Requirements:
  • Availability: Be available for shift or on-call work, including evenings and weekends.
  • Language: Be fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relocation: Be willing to relocate for this position, if required.
  • Residency: Currently reside in proximity to the advertised location.
  • Experience: Have previous experience in the food service industry, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations and management.
  • Education: Have completed a college or CEGEP program, with a focus on hospitality or a related field.

Work Term: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
