Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist

Nursing & Homemakers Inc. is seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced dental practice setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for consulting with dentists on patient care, supervising dental assistants, and performing various dental hygiene tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Consult with dentists on patient care and treatment plans
  • Supervise and train dental assistants in their health care functions
  • Take dental impressions, X-rays, and develop and mount X-rays
  • Instruct patients on oral hygiene and provide personalized care
  • Clean and stimulate gums to prevent gum disease, apply fluoride treatment, and remove stains and deposits from teeth
  • Work under pressure in a dynamic environment, maintaining attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Requirements:
  • Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body
  • 1-2 years of experience in a dental practice setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods
