Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Les Services d'Immigration Manga. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to elderly and disabled individuals in their own homes.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering bedside and personal care, administering medications, and assisting clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also be responsible for light housekeeping, meal preparation, and providing companionship to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care
  • Administer medications
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walking
  • Change non-sterile dressings
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship
  • Provide personal care
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Requirements:
  • Certificate of Conduct
  • First Aid Certificate
Work Environment:

Our clients live in their own homes, and you will be working in a non-smoking environment. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis, but this is not a condition of employment.
