Research Position Overview

The Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Lethbridge is seeking a talented Postdoctoral Fellow to contribute to the development of an innovative clinical trial to investigate the comparative effectiveness of a multinutrient intervention for children and youth with Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

The successful applicant will be part of a cross-disciplinary team inclusive of diverse stakeholders and knowledge users, and will be responsible for leading research activities, including facilitating communication and work across the team, and organizing regular meetings and engagement events.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement research plans, including survey and interview materials, and data collection strategies
  • Conduct primary and secondary data collection, and participate in statistical testing and analysis
  • Design and implement knowledge translation activities, including presenting research and writing publications
  • Provide oversight on social media and outreach activities
  • Engage with patients, clinicians, and decision-makers to prioritize study outcomes and integrate sex, gender, and equity diversity and inclusion principles

Requirements
  • PhD in epidemiology, health sciences, or a health-related discipline within the last 5 years
  • Training in strategic patient-oriented research (SPOR) and mixed methods research
  • Experience in clinical trials design and biostatistical testing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
