Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Machine Learning and AI

We are seeking an exceptional scholar to join our faculty as a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. This tenure-track position is open to candidates who have an established research portfolio and a proven track record of securing external research funding.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead a research program in machine learning and AI with applications to various disciplines
- Secure competitively awarded external research funding from NSERC and other granting agencies
- Mentor graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
- Contribute to the development of the department's research capacity and strategic initiatives
- PhD in a relevant field
- Established research portfolio and a proven track record of securing external research funding
- Ability to build an internationally recognized research program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
