Retail Store Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to lead our team at ALBERTA LTD. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks effectively.
- Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate financial records.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced retail environment.
- Work under pressure to meet sales targets and customer demands.
- Standing for extended periods.
Personal Suitability:
- Client focus and ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Reliability and dependability in meeting deadlines and commitments.
- Team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
