About the Role

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit at Sechelt Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will provide emergency nursing care to clients/patients of all ages, working in a fast-paced environment with unpredictable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency nursing care to clients/patients with a wide variety of symptoms
  • Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement plans of care in relation to client/family priorities
  • Consult, confer, and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements

  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Completion of a recognized critical care nursing program or completion of a recognized advanced program in emergency care nursing
  • Two (2) years' recent, related experience
