About the Role

We are looking for a Transportation Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design of roadway and servicing. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Civil Engineering and be proficient in engineering principles, design analysis, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation, coordination, and management of preliminary and final designs for road reconstruction and infrastructure renewal projects.
  • Providing project engineering and technical expertise, modeling, analysis, and design services on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Participating in studies, assessments, cost estimates, specifications, contract documents, tendering, and contract administration.
  • Preparation and coordination of approvals for above-noted projects and coordination with utilities.
  • Preparation and editing of AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/InRoads design drawings as required.
  • Supporting project managers in the completion of technical analysis, client and stakeholder liaison, project management, and proposal preparation for a variety of public and private sector clients.
  • Ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, developers, elected officials, and other internal and external clients and stakeholders to meet deliverables on multiple projects at any given time.
  • Mentoring and coaching project teams including technical and field staff.
