Job Title: Transportation Engineer

Crozier is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Engineer to join our Transportation Services group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the analysis and preparation of Transportation Studies, Parking Studies, and Transportation Demand Management Studies for a wide variety of residential, commercial, and transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the preparation of detailed traffic modeling, designs, and studies for residential, commercial, and transportation projects.
  • Participate on various project teams to identify issues and mitigative measures to satisfy approval requirements.
  • Identify and provide transportation engineering design and planning solutions with multi-modal considerations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external team members to deliver multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Develop and utilize knowledge of requirements of reviewing agencies such as Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) and municipal authorities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Transportation Engineering or a relatable degree.
  • Licensed in Ontario.
  • Minimum of 5 years transportation engineering work experience, preferably in a consulting engineering environment.
  • Experience in preparation and analysis of transportation studies such as Transportation Impact Studies, Parking Studies, and Transportation Demand Management Plans.
  • Experience with Synchro software is essential.
