Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the needs of our customers.
  • Food Preparation and Quality Control
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
    • Supervise the assembly of trays and ensure that food is prepared to the highest quality standards.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Communicate effectively with the chef and other team members to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
    • Combine sitting, standing, and walking to perform job duties, requiring a high level of physical stamina.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language and Communication
    • Fluent in English, with excellent oral communication skills.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client-focused, with efficient interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.
