Job Summary

Flyingstar Courier Inc. is seeking a reliable and physically capable Material Handler to join our warehouse team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. You will also operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Ship orders and provide customer service
  • Weigh materials and goods
  • Pack and unpack goods
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods
  • Install, lash, and secure goods
  • Transport and distribute materials and goods
  • Organize and maintain inventory
Work Environment

As a Material Handler, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, and will be required to work under pressure. You will be handling heavy loads and will need to be physically capable of standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
