Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at FLYINGSTAR COURIER INC. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading products and materials from trucks, trailers, and containers
  • Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Shipping orders and ensuring timely delivery
  • Weighing materials and goods to ensure accuracy
  • Providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Packing and unpacking goods to ensure safe transportation
  • Sorting, crating, and stacking goods to optimize storage space
  • Installing, lashing, and securing goods to prevent damage during transit
  • Transporting and distributing materials and goods to meet customer demands
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
Work Environment

Our warehouse is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work in a dusty and noisy environment, and be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) regularly.
