Job Title: Material Handler

FlyingStar Courier Inc. is seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading products and materials from trucks, trailers, and containers
  • Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Shipping orders and ensuring timely delivery
  • Weighing materials and goods to ensure accuracy
  • Providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Packing and unpacking goods to ensure safe transportation
  • Sorting, crating, and stacking goods to optimize storage space
  • Installing, lashing, and securing goods to prevent damage during transit
  • Transporting and distributing materials and goods to various locations
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to dust, noise, and heavy equipment
  • May be required to work at heights or in confined spaces
  • Must be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and stand for extended periods
