Chef Job Description

The Momo House is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods for our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Organize buffets and banquets
  • Manage kitchen operations

Work Environment:

The Momo House is a fast-paced environment where you will be working under pressure to meet the demands of our customers. You will be required to work overtime and perform repetitive tasks.

Experience:

We are looking for a candidate with 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role. The position is permanent and requires 30 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
