Job Summary:

The Store Manager is the foundation for maintaining a positive and productive work environment at COWS Inc. where teamwork and mutual respect are the norm. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation of the ice cream counter and retail boutique.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, ensuring that everyone contributes equally to the completion of daily tasks, and conveying a sense of pride in the high-quality products COWS Inc. is known for.
  • Team Leadership: Develop a customer-centric culture within the store, oversee the daily duties of staff members, and ensure thorough completion of tasks.
  • Operations Management: Make weekly schedules, monitor labor hours, hire and train sales, food service, and supervisory staff, open and close the store, reconcile cash, and prepare bank deposits.
  • Inventory Management: Receive inventory, merchandise new products, and restock shelves and ice cream dippers.
  • Food Service: Prepare and serve menu items, maintain the company's high standard for cleanliness in the store and food service area.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: A minimum of 1 year of food service or retail experience in a leadership role.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to creatively and efficiently solve problems.
  • Leadership and Organizational Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to foster good working relationships with staff and clients.
