Are you an experienced hospitality professional looking for a challenging role? We are seeking a skilled Dining Room Manager to join our team at Mandarin Erin Mills.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dining room operation, including food service, customer service, and staff management. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Handling and Reporting: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for staff and customers alike.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service to maintain a positive reputation for Mandarin Erin Mills.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, ensuring that agreements are fair and beneficial to both parties.
  • Operations Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to achieve high standards of quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, with experience an asset.
  • Work Experience: Permanent position, 35-44 hours per week, with fluency in English.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and development in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
