Job Summary

We seek a seasoned Digital Product Security Lead to spearhead the Security team. This leader will motivate and engage the team in delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure software addressing key business challenges.

This role bridges business context and software development, guiding the team toward optimal solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coach the team to deliver high-quality, scalable features fitting Assent's business context and solving customer problems;
  • Champion product quality within the team;
  • Manage product releases by monitoring progress against plans and proactively making necessary adjustments to meet delivery schedules and requirements;
  • Maintain rapport with other teams in the product value chain (Product Management, User Experience, Quality Assurance, Customer Success, and Infrastructure) to represent IAM;
  • E nsure the team develops software adhering to Assent's Design Guidelines, Coding Standards, Security Guidelines, and any Architecture team guidelines;
  • Proven 5+ years of experience in Software Development, with a track record in leadership roles;
  • Familiarity with Cloud native AWS and/or cloud infrastructure platforms and their security;
  • Understanding of security control frameworks like NIST SCF;
  • Highly organized with multi-tasking abilities, managing both short-term projects and long-term strategies to meet project, budget, and quality goals;
  • Adaptable and flexible, thriving in fast-paced environments and handling ambiguity;

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
