Digital Verification Expert for Security IP Development

At Synopsys, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Digital Verification Expert to join our Security IP development team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of cutting-edge digital IP cores and subsystems that extend our portfolio for Security IP.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing verification strategies and plans, creating state-of-the-art functional verification environments, implementing simulations and regressions, and generating verification reports. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills, are essential for success in this role.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong background in computer or electrical engineering or computer science. Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM, Constrained-Random, Coverage-Directed verification, and scripting languages like Python and Linux shell is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop verification strategies and plans for Security IP cores and subsystems
  • Create state-of-the-art functional verification environments
  • Implement, develop, and automate simulations and regressions
  • Generate verification reports and provide status updates during product development
  • Collaborate with peer design and verification engineers on debug and bug fixes
  • Stay up-to-date on state-of-the-art verification methodology and tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Experience in hands-on verification of digital hardware
  • Knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM
  • Experience with Constrained-Random and Coverage-Directed verification
  • Scripting skills, including Python and Linux shell
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
