IT Business Applications Manager

Siskinds LLP is a leading law firm in Southwestern Ontario, with a team of over 240 lawyers and staff covering various practice areas.

We are seeking an IT Business Applications Manager to join our IT department. This role will require you to assess business process requirements and identify application solutions, leveraging the latest software development trends to drive efficiency and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an application portfolio and associated projects
  • Identify opportunities for business application optimization, redesign, or process improvement
  • Partner with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT management to provide a strategic vision for new and supported applications
  • Address the needs, concerns, and expectations of stakeholder groups in planning and executing projects
  • Balance competing project constraints to accommodate the needs of each user/customer

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of current work experience as an IT Business Applications Manager in a mid-size to large organization
  • Experience with managing ready-made business applications, in-house developed software, IT business analysts, and software developers
  • Experience directly managing individuals and directly managing a team of 5 or more would be an asset
