Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Credit Analyst Intern to join our Commercial Banking team. As a Credit Analyst Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in credit analysis and risk assessment, working closely with experienced leaders and professionals in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the analysis of financial information, tax returns, credit bureau reports, and other related materials to support lending decisions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial analysis and risk assessment of new and existing customers.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather detailed client information and provide input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and colleagues.
  • Complete complex and diverse tasks within given rules and limits, and may include handling escalations from other employees.
Requirements
  • Typically between 2 – 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Specialized knowledge and skills in credit analysis and risk assessment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organization and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make sound recommendations.
