Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Alberta Ltd. o/a Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
- Hire and train new staff members to ensure a smooth transition into the team.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, addressing any issues promptly.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
