Family Law Clerk Job Description

At Linds & Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled Family Law Clerk to join our team. As a Family Law Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting our lawyers in preparing financial and net family property statements, drafting documents, and communicating with clients and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare accurate and detailed financial and net family property statements
* Draft documents as needed, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
* Develop effective correspondence and communicate with clients and opposing counsel, providing exceptional customer service
* Manage schedules and act as liaison to third parties, ensuring seamless coordination
* Open and close client files, and prepare Statement of Accounts in PCLaw

Requirements:

* 2+ years of relevant family law experience
* Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent
* Expertise in DivorceMate and PCLaw programs
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organization and file management skills
