Salary & Benefits

Job Description

This exciting opportunity involves working as a Heavy Metal Craftsman with City Welding Sudbury (2015) Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for laying out reference points and patterns, assembling and fitting plates and sections to form structures, and setting up and operating heavy-duty metal-working machines.

You will also construct patterns and templates, install fabricated components in final products, rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, and read blueprints and drawings. Additionally, you will be required to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field of structural metal or steel. You should possess excellent written communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. AutoCAD skills and MS Windows familiarity are also essential.
