We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at City Welding Sudbury (2015) Limited. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal structures, components, and parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, using welding or bolting techniques.
  • Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines to fabricate metal components.
  • Construct patterns and templates to guide fabrication processes.
  • Install fabricated components in final products, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, using heavy machinery.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand fabrication requirements and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Initiative, organized, and a team player with a focus on quality and safety.
