Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Alnawa Business and Consulting Services Inc. as a Home Care Assistant.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a College/CEGEP education and 1-2 years of experience in a related field. The role involves providing supportive care to clients in their homes, including administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer activities, such as walking and using the bathroom
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and linen management
  • Assist clients with pet care and other household tasks
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition or safety concerns
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
