Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Alnawa Business and Consulting Services Inc. as a permanent employee.

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a non-smoking urban area, providing support to individuals in their employer's home.

Responsibilities:
  • Care for pets and administer medications as needed
  • Assist with regular exercise, such as walking, and feed or assist with feeding
  • Launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens as required
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and plan therapeutic diets and menus
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and administer bedside and personal care
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate and Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with repetitive tasks
  • Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, patience, and honesty
