About the Role
We are seeking a Caregiving Professional to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will provide direct and indirect patient care activities and non-patient care duties delegated and supervised by a Therapist responsible for the care of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care services in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of patient care activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in a related field (e.g., rehabilitation assistant program).
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a patient care role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
