This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety and security of our facility by effectively screening inbound and outbound trucks at the gatehouse. We are seeking a highly responsible individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screening inbound and outbound trucks at the gatehouse
- Ensuring the safety and security of the facility
- Providing excellent customer service
- Operating radio communication equipment
- Writing reports on job-related activities
- Observing exterior and interior premises
- Access control experience
- Approaching situations with a listening mindset
- Mature attitude towards executive protection
- Ability to walk/stand 12-hour shifts
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License and First AID/CPR
- Proven experience in security, preferably in a gatehouse or similar setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Observation and attention to detail skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
