Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff supervision.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Cooking and Menu Planning: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods for customers, taking into account their dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train new staff members on preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve performance.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ordering replenishments as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with additional education or training in culinary arts preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
