Job Title: Social Worker, Comprehensive Psychiatric Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at Homewood Health Centre. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers.

Job Summary

As a Social Worker, you will be an integral part of a collaborative, inter-disciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health and addiction issues. You will provide client-centered treatment and recovery-oriented support, conduct comprehensive client assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide DBT, CBT, and interpersonal group therapy
  • Facilitate motivational enhancement in individual and group sessions
  • Provide individual therapy to address comorbid conditions and family therapy to address interpersonal stressors
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports
  • Contribute to program development and evaluation
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work
  • Current registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
  • Training and education in CBT and/or DBT modalities, and Mindfulness
  • Experience working with individuals with complex mental health and addiction issues, and trauma
  • Experience in program development and delivery
