Job Summary

We are seeking a Food Service Worker/Aide to join our Long Term Care Team at the Village of Riverside Glen in Guelph, Ontario. As a Food Service Worker/Aide, you will be responsible for serving meals and beverages to our residents, ensuring we meet their dietary needs and preferences while following safe and sanitary food handling techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in serving meals and beverages to residents
  • Ensure safe and sanitary food handling techniques
  • Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents
  • Assist with preparation of catering functions and events
  • Maintain a clean dining room and workspace

Requirements

  • Completed, enrolled in, or willing to enroll in the Food Services Worker training program
  • Hold a valid Food Handlers certification
  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and team members
  • Be able to lift up to 35lbs
  • Have exceptional time management skills and ability to work in collaboration with a team
