Job Title: Personal Support Worker

At CB Canada, we are seeking a skilled Personal Support Worker to join our team. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our clients.

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide personal care and support to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with activities of daily living, promoting independence, dignity, comfort, safety, and mobility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including direct personal care
  • Contribute to the quality of life of clients by promoting their independence, dignity, comfort, safety, and mobility
  • Ensure that clients' social, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs are met
  • Provide clerical assistance and environmental support to Service Staff within their scope of knowledge, judgment, and assessment skills
Requirements
  • Health Care Aid and/or Personal Support Worker Certificate from a Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care approved program, or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience, preferred
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificates required
