Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SUBWAY SANDWICHES. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food and service meet our high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and addressing any issues promptly.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure that orders are accurate and complete.
- Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure that food is delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
