Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the IT department in strategic IT initiatives, fostering a high-performance culture within the team.
- Drive digital initiatives with a focus on creating measurable value.
- Oversee the adoption and implementation of new technologies that enhance business processes and customer engagement.
- Implement and manage continuous improvement processes to optimize IT performance and align IT services with business requirements.
- Act as Caltechgroup's Privacy Officer, ensuring that data protection policies comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Develop and manage the IT department's budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to meet strategic goals.
- Stay current with the latest technology trends and innovations to provide recommendations for improvements and competitive advantage.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or another related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT strategy, digital transformation, and vendor management, ideally within professional services industries.
- Proven track record of leading successful IT projects and initiatives, with a clear focus on delivering business value.
- In-depth knowledge of systems, networks, servers, and Azure cloud solutions.
- Knowledge of IT governance, including policies, standards, and compliance regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring change and aligning diverse teams towards common goals.
- Deep understanding of IT/OT integration and the specific challenges and opportunities within professional services industries.
- Experienced in database management with knowledge on database systems, data governance, and optimization techniques.
- Familiar with programming languages, software development life cycles (SDLC), and application management.
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects at one time and contribute to a high-performing team.
- Strong commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and professional development.
- Entrepreneurial spirit along with the ability to seek out and develop new business relationships.
