Baycrest, a global leader in aging and brain health, is seeking a Collaborative Educator and Training Specialist to join their team.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for developing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating existing and new interprofessional training and education activities. The successful candidate will provide expertise in Interprofessional training and deliver innovative educational programs to teams, trainees, leaders, and care partners.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in a registered healthcare discipline or a degree in a registered healthcare discipline with substantive training and education experience. Gerontology and Ontario CLRI Specialized Educator for LTC certificates and project management experience are assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to assess current and future learning needs.
  • Develop and deliver in-person and virtual interprofessional education programs.
  • Integrate leading practices, research, and educational technologies into teaching.
  • Promote quality of life for people living, working, and studying in aging care settings.
  • Provide implementation and coaching support to leaders and homes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in a registered healthcare discipline or equivalent.
  • Gerontology and Ontario CLRI Specialized Educator for LTC certificates and project management experience are assets.
  • Three years related experience as an educator.
  • Long-term care and/or aging care experience.
