Health Records Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Records Administrator to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our Trauma Registry team, you will be responsible for interpreting, abstracting, and codifying data to support the operation and maintenance of the Trauma Registry.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret and abstract data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Code data in accordance with established standards and procedures
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of the Trauma Registry, including database management and quality control checks
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide data and support
- Process approved release of data requests and provide input into the review of policies and procedures
- Graduate from an approved Health Record Administrator or Health Record Practitioner diploma program
- Successful completion of the Canadian College of Health Record Administrator's examination at the Certificant level
- One year's recent, related experience in data interpretation, analysis, and coding in an acute care setting
