We are seeking an experienced Nutrition Care Specialist to join our team at Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert. The successful candidate will work in the Clinical Nutrition department, providing nutrition care services to patients and acting as a nutrition consultant to other healthcare team members.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $36.171 to $44.230 per hour, paid on a pay band scale. The incumbent will also receive benefits according to Health Careers in Sask's collective agreement.

Job Description

As a Nutrition Care Specialist, you will be responsible for managing patient nutrition care, including nutritional assessments, developing and implementing nutrition care plans, diet counseling, and arranging follow-up care. You will also act as a nutrition consultant to other healthcare team members and provide education experiences for dietetic interns.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must possess a Dietetic Internship certificate, a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr)), and be registered or eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC). Preference will be given to members of the HSAS union as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.

Other Information

This is a part-time temporary position with 56 hours of work per 3 weeks rotation. The scheduled hours may be reduced during statutory holidays. If you are a motivated and experienced nutrition professional looking for a challenging role, we encourage you to apply.
