Job Description:

The Respiratory Therapist is accountable for the operation of the respiratory service, providing effective and safe treatment to patients with respiratory and cardiac issues.

About the Role:
  • Reports to the Manager, Clinical Services ICU/PACU
  • Travels are not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the respiratory service effectively and efficiently
  • Provide accurate treatment to patients with respiratory and cardiac problems
  • Maintain a high level of patient care and satisfaction
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Respiratory Therapy diploma (RT)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
  • Basic teaching, verbal communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and utilize specific program equipment
  • Registration or eligibility with Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapists (SCRT) and Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT)
Preferred Qualifications:

Possession of an Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS) and previous experience in a healthcare setting would be considered an asset.
