Radiation Therapist

The Radiation Therapist plays a critical role in the delivery of cancer treatment, ensuring that patients receive accurate and precise radiation therapy. This involves preparing patients and their charts for treatment, fabricating accessories, and operating various equipment, including CT scanners and treatment localization systems.
About YouWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiation Therapist to join our team. To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program in Canada or a non-Canadian program recognized by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
- License and registration with the Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals
- Excellent working knowledge of relevant computer software programs
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

HoursThis is a permanent, full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly.
Compensation and IncentivesThe successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $50.66 and may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
