Job Description

We are seeking a Strategic Transportation Leader to join our New Mobility Solutions team. This role will be responsible for driving growth, overseeing business development initiatives, and providing subject matter expertise in the transportation sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute market strategies to expand IBI Group's presence in the transportation market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Apply a client-centric approach to deliver sustainable solutions that exceed client expectations.
  • Lead and support key account managers of our transportation clients.
  • Collaborate with other sector leaders and business areas for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Use market intelligence to inform decision-making and develop strategies for maintaining a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Systems Engineering, Transportation Planning, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (15+ years) in a leadership role within the transportation sector.
  • Strong business development skills and a track record of successfully winning and managing projects.
  • Good knowledge of transportation planning, design, and construction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align business goals with market opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous leadership positions with public transportation agencies.
  • Active leader within the American Public Transportation Association (APTA).
  • Proven understanding of the application and embedment of new technologies, products, and services in the planning, design, and delivery of transportation projects.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license or relevant certifications.
