Key Responsibilities- Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
- Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Merchandise and Stock: Wrap or place merchandise in bags, and maintain a visually appealing store display.
- Foreign Currency Exchange: Calculate foreign currency exchange and ensure accurate transactions.
- Age Verification: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train, with a focus on developing strong customer service and sales skills.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
