Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Island Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for dispensing prescribed medications, advising patients on medication usage, and maintaining accurate patient records.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense prescribed medications to patients or other healthcare professionals
  • Advise patients on medication indications, contraindications, adverse effects, and drug interactions
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medication profiles and registry of poisons and narcotics
  • Order and manage inventory of pharmaceutical supplies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (PharmD, BS, BSc, BPharm) and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. You should also possess excellent oral communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
