Senior Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at BWXT Technologies, Inc.
Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to work in a fast-paced environment, monitoring all financial aspects of contracts, preparing sales invoices, and forecasting revenue. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with various stakeholders, and possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and software systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Contract Management: Monitor all financial aspects of contracts, including project setup, budget changes, and revenue recognition.
- Sales Invoicing: Prepare and issue sales invoices to customers, follow up on accounts receivables, and ensure timely payment.
- Forecasting: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts, financial reports, and variance analysis reports.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, external auditors, and other accounting groups.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Accounting Background: Degree or diploma in an accounting-related discipline complemented by a minimum of 5 years hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Advanced experience with spreadsheet applications, data manipulation techniques, vlookup, formulas, macros, and a strong understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven problem-solving abilities, good relationship-building skills, and a commitment to supporting a team.
BWXT Technologies, Inc. offers a competitive salary range between $74,000 and $111,000 per year, depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate. The total compensation package also includes an annual cash incentive, full medical benefits, retirement plans, and more.
