Data Quality Lead

At Nova Scotia Health Authority, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive downtime procedures and disaster recovery plans that align with our operational needs and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with clinical, technical, and operational stakeholders to identify critical processes, assess risks, and design strategies to maintain continuity of care in the event of system disruptions.
- Lead the analysis, resolution of issues, and communication of resolution to affected users.
- Develop training programs to educate staff on business continuity and disaster recovery procedures and their roles during downtime events.
- Conduct annual tests of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures to confirm their function.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or health-related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in clinical application implementation, IT disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Working understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
