Job Overview

The Field Safety Specialist plays a pivotal role in Grainger Businesses, serving as a trusted advisor to customers and sellers alike. As a seasoned expert in safety and health regulations, this individual will partner with District Sales Managers to identify and capitalize on safety opportunities within defined regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough needs analyses to understand customer safety challenges and align Grainger's safety solutions accordingly.

• Lead customer discussions with insightful data-driven approaches, challenging them to rethink their safety strategies.

• Develop strong relationships with customers through active listening, empathy, and tailored solutions that address their unique pain points.

• Utilize research to identify compelling evidence supporting the adoption of Grainger's safety offerings.

• Identify high-value customers and prioritize their needs, ensuring timely delivery of safety solutions and exceptional service.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of safety initiatives and effective communication of value proposition to customers.

• Develop cost-saving analyses and value-based conversations to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

• Foster a culture of continuous learning, staying up-to-date on the latest safety regulations, industry trends, and best practices.

Requirements and Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent, with a proven track record in safety hazard analysis and assessments.

• Bilingual (English and French) with excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.

• Proven ability to project manage and drive results, with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.

• Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial reports, identify safety improvement opportunities, and document value to customers.

• A valid driver's license and suitable vehicle for regular travel to customer sites.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000-$85,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with an attractive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, employee family assistance program, retirement savings plan, and more.
