Homewood Health is a leading provider of mental health services, seeking experienced therapists to deliver work-focused cognitive behavioral and other psychotherapeutic treatments. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health and experience in providing psychotherapy, particularly CBT. They should be functionally focused, believing that work is compatible with less than perfect health.

About the Role

This is an independent contractor role, requiring therapists to conduct weekly one-on-one therapy sessions following standardized procedures. You will build an understanding of the factors influencing client recovery, identify medical and non-medical issues contributing to decreased work capacity, and provide treatment to assist clients in resuming work functions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field
  • Registration and authorization to practice psychotherapy in your province
  • 3-5 years of return-to-work focused clinical counseling experience
  • Proficiency in CBT techniques
  • Experience in RTW counseling for clients on short-term/long-term disability
  • Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year based on experience and location.
