Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our growing HashiVault squad. As an SRE, you will be responsible for implementing new features, dealing with user requests, and reducing repeatable tasks to allow our team to focus on strategic initiatives.

You will work closely with the Vault squad and wider Technology stakeholders to support the continuous improvement of our services through automation scripting and effective observability solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Engineering & Operational tasks, ranging from service delivery, automation, DevOps tasks, and on-call rotation
  • Develop automation scripting and effective observability solutions
  • Enforce adherence to architectural standards, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
  • Onboard new tools to support business needs and integrate with the Axelon Services Corporation ecosystem
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies to produce the best product possible
  • Deliver knowledge sharing across the Vault squad and Data Protection chapter, providing documentation, presentations, and internal postings
Requirements:
  • Experience working with Kubernetes and Public Cloud (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Experience programming in Golang and/or Python
  • Operational and Engineering experience in managing applications & services in an enterprise environment
  • Technology security experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a collaborative approach
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with HashiCorp Vault and Terraform products
  • Experience with CI/CD toolchains such as Maven/Jenkins/Gitlab and methodologies like GitOps
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, CloudFormation, Salt
