What is the Opportunity?

Royal Bank of Canada is a leading investment counselling firm with a nationwide presence. Our team of investment professionals provides discretionary investment management and privileged access to our RBC Wealth Management Services team, which includes highly accredited lawyers, accountants, and financial planning specialists.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the Investment Counsellor and other team members in providing daily portfolio maintenance and administration, as well as superior service to our high-net-worth clients. For more information, please visit our website.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve all client inquiries and administrative errors.
  • Support the administrative activities and responsibilities of the team.
  • Ensure trades are processed accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Manage all aspects of account opening and documentation, and maintain client cash flows and balances.
  • Maintain records and files, and attend client meetings as required.
  • Proactively assist with client management of appointments and scheduled meetings/calls.
  • Stay current with all RBC policies and procedures.
  • Assist other team members and strengthen cross-business working relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role in the investment industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under high pressure.
