Customer Service Representative

Located in Vars, ON, Republic Packaging Corp. is a leading provider of cushion packaging solutions. As a 60-year-old company, we pride ourselves on outstanding design, quality, and customer service. Our sister company, Impacte, offers warehouse management services that complement our packaging products or can be a standalone solution to address customer needs.

We are seeking an experienced and insightful Customer Service professional to support our service and packaging deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact with customers and suppliers to provide support and information on products or services.
  • Collect and enter orders for new or additional products or services.
  • Build rapport with customers and ensure they receive excellent service.
  • Update customer information and requirements as necessary.
  • Use our ERP system to retrieve customer information, inventory information, and purchase order status.
  • Support Purchasing functions and engage suppliers as needed to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Field customer questions and complaints and escalate to the appropriate individual when necessary.
  • Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions.
Requirements:
  • Some college education preferred.
  • English/French bilingual.
  • 5+ years of experience in an advanced Customer Service role.
  • Experience in the packaging industry preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Service-oriented and ability to resolve customer grievances.
  • Ability to maintain good customer relations.
  • Ability to type 40-50 words per minute.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn database and ordering systems.
