About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual individual to join our team as a Bilingual Pension Benefits Specialist Associate. As a key member of our Member Services team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our members while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service and support to members, pensioners, and other beneficiaries, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process pension benefits in accordance with plan terms and applicable legislation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Review client files, assess eligible benefit scenarios, and provide counseling and support to members.
  • Respond to member inquiries and requests for information, providing clear and concise answers and explanations.
  • Meet with clients in person to discuss their pension benefits and provide personalized support.
  • Interpret and assess client needs, eligibility requirements, and critical issues, making recommendations for resolution.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in French and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and listening skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility, dependability, tact, and diplomacy, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Relevant university degree and/or client service experience, with a strong understanding of pension benefits and related legislation.
